  • Signage: A path highlighted by a yellow and white sign marks the beginning of the route.
  • Landscapes: During the route, the landscapes of olive trees, cistus, vineyards, holm oaks and in the background the pine forests of Granadilla follow one another. There are many streams that lead us to the water, you will surely enjoy these beautiful views, including the Gabriel y Galán reservoir, a valley of olive trees and the Trasierra mountains.
  • Olive trees and vineyards: Along the way, you will be able to see olive trees and vineyards on both sides.
  • Passage through an olive grove: At a certain point, the path enters an olive grove, which has been plowed. To follow the route you must follow the boundary until you find a cattle track on the right.
  • Valley of rockroses: After a steep descent, you will reach a valley surrounded by rockroses. Here, the land is covered with grass and there are two narrow paths for the passage of livestock.
  • Stream and flood-prone section: you will cross a stream and pass through a flood-prone section in winter.
  • Concierge and caution sign: 4 km into the route, tourists will find a concierge. A sign warns about “wild cattle,” although there are apparently no such cattle in this area.
  • Peninsulas and water: The route passes through two peninsulas that offer close views of the Gabriel y Galán reservoir.
  • Difficult sections: Some sections of the road can be difficult for cyclists due to the uneven terrain.
